  • Naoko Miyake’s CD “Ko Ko Ro No Tabi”

    August 28th, 2010 Studio J No comments

On June 24th, Naoko Miyake visited Studio J all the way from Okayama prefecture. She sang Kishida Satoshi’s song, “Ko Ko Ro No Tabi”. She has a beautiful voice and delivered a wonderful performance. She sounds to me like a Japanese Karen Carpenter. She wrote about her visit on her blog. Unfortunately, it’s only in Japanese. The Reader’s Digest version. She was expecting to record in a big building with lots of equipment, so she was surprised to be recording in a Japanese country house. This made her feel relaxed and at home which made her first recording experience enjoyable.

Her CD was release on July 25th and will be available at HMV and Tower Records all over Japan on September 25th. If you would like a CD before then, please send us an email and we can arrange for a signed copy.
